The walk supports individuals with developmental disabilities in Mid-Fairfield County.

Staying Put in New Canaan is a private non-profit volunteer-supported organization dedicated to giving their seniors the practical means and social support to live their lives to the fullest, safely and confidently, in the New Canaan community.

Volunteer drivers are needed to help seniors who can no longer drive their own cars -- to keep medical appointments, to run errands, to grocery shop and meet other essential dates. Drivers can volunteer for a regular ride each month or each week, or they can volunteer to be "on call" for a particular morning or afternoon each week.

Family & Children's Agency needs one or two volunteers to help out in the "Rainbow Room" on Mondays from noon to 1:30 p.m. and/or Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Children range in age from infancy to 5 and the number of children varies to a maximum of seven. Volunteers must have experience with infants and toddlers.

The American Heart Association Fairfield County is seeking volunteers to help promote the CPR Saves Lives Campaign at our booth at the upcoming Women's Expo taking place on Saturday and Sunday. Mercy Learning Center in Bridgeport needs volunteer tutors 18 and older to teach English as a Second Language (ESL), Reading and/or math skills, two hours twice a week from September to early June.
