Elderhouse, a non-profit organization serving the elderly in the greater Norwalk area, needs volunteers to work with seniors in their scheduled activities including card games, knitting, exercise programs. Musicians, singers, dancers, school children, pets, artists, chefs, craft makers and community groups are welcome to perform and share their talents. Volunteers are needed to help design, plan and assist in fundraising events.

Family & Children's Agency needs volunteers to facilitate weekly enrichment classes for homeless adults at our drop-in Center in South Norwalk. Possible options include: beading, photography, crafts, flower arranging, music, etc. Classes may be held weekdays, except Thursdays, between the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on a weekly or biweekly basis.

The Connecticut Hospice is in need of volunteers to provide care and support to patients and their families (weekdays, evenings or weekends) in an administrative capacity or offering direct care as a friendly visitor, bereavement care, help in the arts or meet transportation needs.
