Mid-Fairfield AIDS Project in Norwalk is committed to providing quality services in its efforts to bring much needed care, information and assistance to those living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. Volunteers are needed as receptionists and greeters. Duties include answering phones and light office work. Interested volunteers can call 203-855-9535.

The Connecticut Hospice is in need of volunteers to provide care and support to patients and their families (weekdays, evenings or weekends) in an administrative capacity or offering direct care as a friendly visitor, bereavement care, help in the arts or meet transportation needs. Keep Norwalk Beautiful needs volunteers for its annual city-wide clean-up on April 24. After a snowy winter, garbage and debris have accumulated everywhere. Lockwood Mathews Mansion, a historical landmark in Norwalk, needs volunteers for its upcoming 2011 season. Special volunteer trainings and free behind-the-scenes tours are offered Saturdays in March.
