A 53-year-old Stamford woman reported a larceny at Waveny Park on at 2:14 p.m. Nov. 1.

Police said that she had parked her Mini-Cooper by the paddle courts at 1:45 p.m. to walk her dog and returned around 25 minutes later to find her front passenger-side window smashed, and possessions from the car. The vehicle was locked at the time of the break-in, according to police.

The missing included a black leather Talbot's handbag valued at $150, a black leather wallet valued at $20 with $80 cash, a cosmetic madres print bag valued at $30 and a red iPod valued at $100, police said.

The incident is still under investigation.
