A wallet was stolen from a vehicle parked at Waveny Park Sept. 12, according to New Canaan Police.

The complainant, a 57-year-old Darien resident, called police at 9 p.m. after returning to her car and noticing her lime green bi-fold wallet was missing, police said. The woman had parked by the dog park just 30 minutes prior, according to the report.

Police said her wallet had $50 in cash, her driver's license, and credit and debit cards.

The victim said she believes she locked the car, but there were no signs of forced entry, according to police.

The incident is under investigation.
