Jonathan A. Cordero, 19, of Truman Street, Norwalk, was arrested at 9:36 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, on charges of possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, unreasonable speed and operating a vehicle without a license.
Police said Cordero was stopped after passing an officer performing radar speed enforcement near the entrance of Saxe Middle School. The officer stopped Cordero at the corner of South Avenue and Gower Road, according to the report, and asked for him for his license and registration. He was unable to produce a license but when he went to retreive his registration from the glove compartment, said police, the officer noticed a multi-colored glass pipe with burnt marijuana inside.
