An 18-year-old town woman was issued a misdemeanor for possession of alcohol and marijuana after police checked on the report of a suspicious vehicle parked in a cul-de-sac of Ludlowe Road.

Mary K. Molano, 18, of Ludlowe Road, was issued summonses Jan. 6 for possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of alcohol by a minor.

A resident called police at 8:51 p.m. about a suspicious vehicle parked in the cul de sac of Ludlowe Road. The arriving officer spoke to Molano and two other 18-year-old passengers in the car. The officer observed containers of alcohol in the rear hatch of the 2012 Jeep Compass, according to the report, and also caught the aroma of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

After claiming the alcohol was not hers, Molano admitted the alcohol in the car was hers, according to police Sgt. Carol Ogrinc, as well as the contents of a pack including two pipes with marijuana residue, rolling papers, a vaporizer device and a small amount of marijuana.
