Kenneth Eger, 18, of Stamford was charged with possession of marijuana July 2 at 6:04 p.m.

An officer stopped Eger after he did not yield to a pedestrian in a cross walk on Main Street.

Upon stopping him, the officer asked Eger if there were any drugs in the car and Eger indicated there was a small amount of marijuana.

After the police dog Zira checked the vehicle, Eger was issued an infraction for possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana and a verbal warning for not yielding to a pedestrian.

The fine for the infraction is $150
