Locals can fire up their winter look Jan. 14 and 15, at the Style Warm Up at L'Armoire, 102 Park Street.
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the store will feature fur makeovers by Peter Duffy. The renowned furrier specializes in remodeling furs into great, up-to-date designs. Bring in your fur coat, cape or jacket for a makeover. The experts from Peter Duffy will consult with you on ideas for giving your fur a new look and then take it to be skillfully altered into a fresh new design.
Style Warm Up also includes an appearance by make-up guru Kimara Ahnert of Greenwich and Madison Avenues. Enjoy a free consultation and take away some great ideas to help make you look your most beautiful at any age, even in the cold of winter.
"Peter Duffy Furs is known for their meticulous craftsmanship and they do an incredible job redesigning furs," L'Armoire owner Diane Roth said. "Kimara Ahnert has worked with celebrities like Catherine Zeta-Jones, Gwyneth Paltrow, Isabella Rossellini and Brooks Shields. She opened Kimara Ahnert Studio, a 3,000 square foot beauty destination in Greenwich that feels like a residential townhouse and offers clients makeup application and lessons, eyebrow shaping, lash application, facials, waxing and massage."
