State Judicial Branch's computer system struck by virus
HARTFORD -- The state Judicial Branch's computer system has been struck by a virus.
Branch Spokeswoman Deborah Fuller, confirmed they are in the process of cleaning the virus out of the system. She said the virus has affected less than 5 percent of the personal computers in the department.
"It affects the ability to access certain applications from an infected PC; however no files or data have been corrupted or compromised," she said. "There has been no disruption in online services as a result of the PC virus outbreak."
Fuller said Thursday afternoon that they were concentrating on cleaning up the infected PCs before launching an investigation to find out where the virus came from.
