Stamford man turns himself in after missing court date
Daniel Kowaleski, 20, 424 Hope St., Stamford, was arrested Dec. 28 on a charge of second-degree failure to appear.
He turned himself in at the New Canaan police station after learning there was a warrant for his arrest, according to the report.
Kowaleski missed a Nov. 14 court date, stemming from an incident in the summer, police said. On June 29, he was arrested during a sobriety checkpoint in New Canaan for possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana and driving with a suspended license, according to police.
He was released on $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 9.
