This forecast is brief: Snow.

The winter cycle of storms will continue spinning across southwestern Connecticut.

This morning, there is a chance of snow showers before noon, according to the National Weather Service. The daytime high should be in the mid 30s and the low tonight drops to about 20.

Tomorrow and Monday, there is a bit of a break. Both days should be mostly sunny, says the NWS.

The high tomorrow may be in the mid 30s, but it will only be in the high 20s Monday, plunging to 10 degrees overnight.

Then, the forecast spins back to winter Tuesday.

The snow should begin in the afternoon, with a daytime high of 26 degrees, the NWS predicts. That likelihood of snow continues overnight.

Wednesday, there again is a chance of snow as the temperature climbs only to the freezing mark. Nighttime will be cloudy and blustery ... and, yes, the likelihood of more snowfall continues.
