The Summer Theatre of New Canaan will bring its players to the Pop-Up Park Saturday, June 28, for photos, games and fun.

"The Pop-Up Park is a great way to bring our season's offerings to the heart of New Canaan," Ed Libonati, the STONC's executive director, said. "It's a busy and exciting weekend for us and we're thrilled to share it."

The line-up for the Pop-Up Park, South Avenue between Elm and Cherry streets, is:

From 11 to 11:45 a.m.: Singer/songwriter, Nick DePuy, who also will be participating in the STONC's new Under the Stars Summer Summer Theatre Works July 1.

Noon to 12:30 p.m.: Merrilee Mannerly, played by Molly Garbe, star of "Merrilee Mannerly-A Magnificent New Musical."

From 12:30 to 1 p.m.: Sebastian and Flounder from "The Little Mermaid Jr."

Under the STONC's tent at Waveny Park Saturday at 11 a.m., "The Little Mermaid Jr." returns to tell the tale of young mermaid Ariel, who longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above.

At 2 p.m. "Merrilee Mannerly-A Magnificent New Musical" will be staged. Merrilee Mannerly loves good manners, but imagine her surprise when a princess from a land of no manners moves next door and invites her to a birthday party. With her grandmother's Manifesto of Manners in hand, she is ready to help her new friend, Princess Posy, host the best party ever.

At 8 p.m. "Hairspray" continues its run. Set in 1962 Baltimore, it tells the story of the lovable plus-sized teen Tracy Turnblad, whose only desire is to dance on the popular Corny Collins TV show. When her dream comes true, Tracy is transformed from social outcast to sudden star. She must use her newfound power to dethrone the reigning Teen Queen, win the affections of heartthrob Link Larkin, and integrate a TV network all without denting her 'do.
