The partners at Reynolds & Rowella announce two Strength In Numbers Scholarship Award winners from the graduating class at New Canaan High School.

Since the awards are department specific, selection is made by the staff of the High School's business education program who select recipients for having shown an aptitude for accounting and finance.

Janice Kunst, CPA of Reynolds & Rowella presented a check for $500 to each student at an awards ceremony held on June 3. The award recipients are Robert Rutkowski who will attend Fordham University, and Joseph Costigan who will attend the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

"The partners and staff at Reynolds & Rowella are committed to supporting their profession and the communities in which they live and work," Frank Rowella, CPA, said. "We are pleased to recognize two talented students who we hope may be encouraged to consider a future in the accounting profession."

The Strength in Numbers Awards Program was initiated by Reynolds & Rowella, LLP in the year 2000, to mark the firm's 15th anniversary. Each year, Reynolds & Rowella has awarded two scholarships to graduating seniors in each in the three school districts and communities where the firm has offices. Robert Lodewick and Joseph Messina, both of Wilton High School, and Nicole Gutter and Olivia Marra, both of Ridgefield High School, were also award recipients this year. Reynolds & Rowella has offices in Ridgefield, Wilton and New Canaan.
