Registered nurse Christine L. Tyrrell will speak to the Senior Men's Club of New Canaan on Friday, Jan. 27, in Morrill Hall at St. Mark's Church at 10 a.m.

She will facilitate a men's health seminar, which will provide information regarding natural approaches to common symptoms and conditions such as asthma, allergies, high blood pressure and heartburn. Tyrrell will discuss topics such as weight management, healthy blood sugar, digestive heath, immune system building and prostate health.

Tyrrell is a registered nurse with 17 years of experience, ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, with a specialty in oncology.

For the past three years, her focus has been health promotion, disease prevention and patient advocacy. She is a nutraceutical consultant with nutraMetrix, integrating and implementing wellness solutions in health professionals' practices and managing a portfolio of clients by teaching them how to set and accomplish health and weight goals in order to achieve optimal health.
