The Pro Arte Singers are to begin their 43rd season at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, with a concert at the First Presbyterian Church of New Canaan, 178 Oenoke Ridge Road.

The singers will perform under the direction of Music Director Arthur Sjögren.

The Pro Arte Singers and Festival Chorus and Charis Chamber Voices, a Westchester County chamber choir, will perform works by Faure and Saint-Saens, along with selections from the “Psalms of David” by Cyrillus Kreek. Pro Arte will also sing a motet and songs by Mendelssohn and music from the Renaissance.

Single concert tickets at $35 ($30 for seniors and students) will be available at the door. Three-concert season subscriptions at $85 ($80 for seniors and students) are also available.

The Pro Arte Singers is a non-profit ensemble, supported by contributions and public grants, including one from the Connecticut Office of the Arts.
