Marco D. Desauguste, 33, of Norwalk, was charged with possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana on Tuesday, June 15 at 12:07 p.m.
An officer observed Desauguste driving north on Park Street with a cracked windshield and no front license plate, according to the police report. Desauguste was stopped on Elm Street near Park Street, at which point the officer determined that the car's registration was canceled. Desauguste was asked to exit the car, and he admitted to the officer that he had marijuana in his pocket.
He posted a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, June 25.
He also received an infraction for no front license plate and driving without insurance, for which he will appear in court on Tuesday, June 29.

A 56-year-old Conrad Road man reported having more than $2,500 of clothes stolen from him on Thursday, June 17, at 8:29 a.m.
According to police, the man had a garment filled with suits, pants, shirts and shoes sent to his house via UPS; the delivery was supposed to arrive on Friday, June 11. The man contacted UPS, and was told that the clothes had been dropped off at 9:30 a.m. June 11. Another resident of his home arrived at the house at 1:15 p.m. that day, at which point the bag was not there, according to the report. The garment bag itself was worth $500; the total value of the clothes and the bag is estimated at $3,054, police said.
