Norwalk man arrested after allegedly fleeing accident in New Canaan
NEW CANAAN — Police arrested a 31-year-old Norwalk man after he allegedly fled the scene of a car accident.
On March 15 around 8:30 p.m., police received a report of a car accident in the area of Old Stamford and Talmadge Hill roads. There were no injuries, but one of the drivers involved left the scene before police arrived.
Following an investigation, police determined that Joseph Latino, of Richards Avenue in Norwalk, was the other driver who left. On March 17 around 4 p.m., Latino turned himself in to New Canaan police on charges of evading responsibility and operating without a license. He posted a $260 bond and was released with a court date of March 27.
