New Canaan's Saturday forecast: Light snow possible later

A chance of overnight snow looms today for southwestern Connecticut, according to the National Weather Service.
Daytime skies will be partly cloudy with a high temperature of nearly 40 degrees and a west wind between 7 and 11 mph.
Light snow is expected to fall after midnight as temperatures drop to about 30 degrees. The accumulation should be less than a half-inch, the NWS says.
Snow remains a possibility before 9 a.m. tomorrow, then changing to rain until about noontime. Skies will be mostly cloudy with a daytime high temperature in the low-40s. A northwest will be between 5 and 8 mph. Overnight, there is a slight chance of rain with the low temperature registering just above the freezing mark.
Monday promises to be a rainy day, with a high near 50 degrees. Winds from the south will pick up to between 23 and 26 mph. At night, there is still a chance of rain as temperatures falls to about 33 degrees.
Tuesday should be sunny and breezy, with a high near 44.
