New Canaan police charge Wilton couple with selling drugs

A two-month investigation resulted in more than a pound of marijuana, scales, packaging and processing materials, drug paraphernalia and cocaine when New Canaan police searched the home of a Wilton couple on Feb. 25.
Police said several investigators and members of the Special Response Team worked in conjunction with the Wilton Police Department to execute the search at 1 Mail Couch Court. The couple being investigated was home at the time of the search and they were transported to New Canaan for processing without incident.
Emmanuel Pasakiolis, 40, and Angelica Pasakiolis, 24, were both processed at the New Canaan Police Department and issued several different charges.

Emmanuel Pasakiolis was charged with illegal possession of drugs, illegal possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal sale/distribution of drugs.
Angelica Pasakiolis was charged with illegal possession of drugs, illegal possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana.
"The action was the culmination of a long investigation into the illegal sale of marijuana," Lt. Vincent DeMaio said in a press release.
Police said both of them were released on bond and expected to appear in court in early March. Emmanuel posted a $5,000 bond and will appear in court March 7 while Angelica posted a $1,000 bond and will appear in court March 8. Wilton police have no charges against the couple.
New Canaan Police Sgt. Carol Ogrinc would not specify how the department was involved.
