New Canaan police: Stamford woman failed to go to court
NEW CANAAN — Police arrested a 27-year-old Stamford woman after she failed to show up to court for allegedly having marijuana and drug paraphernalia in Waveny Park back in July.
On Dec. 10 around 2:30 p.m., Karolina Palik of Avon Lane turned herself in to police on an active warrant issued by Norwalk Superior Court for charges of failing to respond to an infraction. The original incident occurred on July 13, when Palik was issued an infraction for possession of less than a half ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia while in Waveny Park.
Palik was processed and posted a $250 bond. She was given a new court date of Dec. 27.
