New Canaan officials to address pension issues today at 4:30 p.m. meeting
The agenda also contains a review of retirement benefits and health-care benefits policies for town employees, a review of the projected cost to pay 100 percent of retirees' health-care packages, and a review of a suggestion by Mercer that elected officials should be treated as a "separate class for vesting periods and rationale," as well as other issues.
The meeting comes two days before the Town Council meets in full Wednesday night to discuss the pension issue, among other items.
