New Canaan man reports credit card fraud

A 55-year-old West Road resident reported fraud April 28 at 2:17 p.m.
The victim received a bill from Macy's, a card he says he has not used in several years, with $1,193 in total fraudulent charges. The charges were made on Feb. 13 and 14 in Long Island, police said. The Feb. 13 charge was $958 for jewelry while the Feb. 14 charge was $235 for cosmetics.
The matter is still under investigation.
