The New Canaan girls tennis team won its third straight match to start the season by picking up a 7-0 win over Trinity Catholic on Monday.

At the top singles spot, New Canaan's Courtney Gallagher defeated Trinity's Jennifer Featherston 6-1, 6-0. At second singles, Jensen Lee defeated Sarah Rivera 6-0 in the first set and won the match after Trinity retired. At third singles, Kate Howard beat Gina Divito 6-1, 6-1. New Canaan won No. 4 singles by default.

New CAnaa's top doubles tandem of Kristin Laub and Sara Greene defeated Marrisa Carpanzano and Olivia Ditomoaso 6-0, 6-1. At second doubles, Phoebe Wilks and Amada Merjia defeated Eileen Globoker and Maya Ferguson 6-0, 6-0. New Canaan won third doubles by default.
