The New Canaan girls tennis team captured its third straight match by picking up a 6-1 victory while playing host to Westhill on Thursday.

Westhill's lone win was at the top singles spot, where Anna Rogers picked up a 6-2, 6-0 win over Jensen Lee. In the other six matches, the Rams combined to lose only one game.

At second singles, New Canaan's Kate Howard cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win over Julie Arditti. No. 3 singles player Emily Brand picked up a 6-1, 6-0 win over Westhill's Michelle Yung. At fourth singles, Caroline Gordon notched a 6-0, 6-0 win over Amanda Weisel.

New Canaan did not lose a single game in any of its three doubles matches, as all three ended 6-0, 6-0. The Rams' top tandem of Sara Greene and Kristin Laub defeated Natalie Carroll and Jessica Renstein, New Canaan's Amanda Merjian and Sarah Lovejoy bested Lauren Coritt and Quinn Devlin and the Rams' Guiliana Savini and Emma Gruber topped Natalia Luty and Shika Jasvia.

With the win, the Rams improved to 9-2.
