The New Canaan girls tennis team took to the road to edge Wilton 4-3 on Monday, boosting its record to 7-2.

At the top singles spot, Wilton's Maddi Stow earned a 6-1, 6-1 victory over New Canaan's Jensen Lee.

New Canaan, however, would win the other three singles matches in straight sets. At No. 2 singles, Kate Howard of the Rams defeated the Warriors' Brooke Connolly 6-2, 6-0. Playing at third singles, New Canaan's Emily Brand scored a 6-0, 6-2 victory over Wilton's Allie Schaeffer. At fourth singles, Caroline Gordon notched a 7-6 (7-2), 6-1 victory over Sammy Augenbraun.
