Early-morning showers today will clear, the National Weather Service says, with skies becoming sunny most of the day.

The daytime high temperature in southwestern Connecticut is expected to reach about 67 degrees, the NWS says. There will be a west wind between 10 and 16 mph.

Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low around 49 degrees.

Tomorrow will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 67 and a west wind around 8 mph. Rain is likely tomorrow night -- possible downpours, with gusty winds -- as the temperature dips to the mid-50s.

Rain is also in forecast for Wednesday and the high temperature will rise to the mid-60s. Showers are also possible Wednesday night, with a low temperature registering about 50 degrees.

Thursday, the weather service predicts, will be partly sunny and breezy, with a high near 59 degrees.
