New Canaan forecast: Showers & storms possible

There could be scattered storms this afternoon across southwestern Connecticut as a cooler air mass slowly moves into the region.
The National Weather Service says there is a 40 percent chance of precipitation -- and possible thunderstorms -- after noontime today. Otherwise, skies will be partly sunny, with a daytime high temperature in the mid-80s.
Tonight, there remains a 30 percent chance of precipitation, as the temperature dips to a low in the mid-60s.
Tomorrow should be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the mid-80s. Nighttime is expected to be clear, with a low temperature about 60 degrees.
On Saturday, skies should be sunny, with a high temperature about 80 degrees. Night skies will be clear, with a low temperature in the upper-50s.
Sunday is expected to be Sunny, with a high temperature about 80 degrees. Nighttime will be mostly clear, with a low temperature about 60 degrees.
The outlook for Monday, according to the weather service, is sunny and temperatures about 80 degrees.
