There is a chance of showers -- and thunderstorms -- early this morning in southwestern Connecticut, but the National Weather Service says if marchers in the region's Memorial Day parades are lucky enough to avoid the raindrops, the remainder of the holiday should be mostly sunny and warm.
The high temperature is expected to be in the mid-80s, with a west wind between 5 and 9 mph.
Tonight should be mostly clear, with a low around 66 degrees.
Tomorrow should be mostly sunny, with a high near 79 degrees. There is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms tomorrow night after 9 p.m. The low temperature should be about 62 degrees.
There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms Wednesday, with the threat greatest after noon. Otherwise, skies will be partly sunny, with a high near 81 degrees. By late night, there is a renewed chance of showers and thunderstorms.
Thursday, according to the weather service, will be sunny, with a high near 82 degrees.
