Southwestern Connecticut continues to be on the sunny side of the street, as clear, cool fall weather envelopes the region for another day -- and likely the rest of the week.
Today, under bright skies, the temperature will rise to a daytime high in the low-70s, with a northwest wind 5 to 7 mph.
Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature of about 50 degrees, with a northwest wind around 5 mph becoming northeast after midnight.
Tomorrow will be mostly sunny and temperatures will rise to a high near 70 degrees. Night skies will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature in the low-50s.
On Friday, skies will be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the low-70s. Nighttime will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature about 50 degrees.
Saturday also will be sunny and the high temperature will be about 70 degrees. The overnight low temperature, under clear skies, will be about 50 degrees.
The outlook for Sunday, according to the weather service, is sunny and temperatures about 70 degrees.
