Skies across southwestern Connecticut are expected to clear away the clouds of the last few days, according to the National Weather Service.'

Despite the sunny skies, the NWS says conditions will be fairly cold, with a daytime high temperature rising only to about 47 degrees. There will be a west wind between 9 and 14 mph.

Tonight should be mostly clear, with a low temperature around 33.

Tomorrow will also be sunny, but the high temperature will be only about 50 degrees. Skies will be partly cloudy tomorrow night, with a low temperature in the low-40s.

Sunday is expected to be mostly cloudy, but the temperature is expected to be more balmy with a high near 61 degrees. There will be a slight chance of showers Sunday night under mostly cloudy skies and a low temperature of about 54 degrees.
