The New Canaan YMCA Aquianas Synchronized Swimming team has two representatives competing on the 2012 United States Olympic Team.
New Canaan native and nine-year Aquiana Megan Hansley has been named to the team after training full-time with the Senior National Team for the past two years.
Leah Pinette of Bristol, who trained with the Aquianas for seven years before competing at Ohio State University, has also been named to the team.
The team is set to compete in the Olympic Qualifiers held in April in London.
Two other Aquianas were recently named to the Junior National Training Team. Emma Barinsky and Emily Drew will train with 14 other athletes for the chance to compete at the Junior World Championships in 2012 hosted in Greece.
