New Canaan forward Tim Scranton sent a perfect pass to Mike Nikolla, who blasted the ball into the corner of the Rowayton goal to tie the score at 1-1.

Cristobal Toro made some nice runs up the field and Alex Greer played well on defense, but New Canaan trailed 5-1 at halftime.

New Canaan forward Sam Rhodes energized the team by scoring the first of his three goals, running down the middle of the field and firing a high shot which gave the Rowayton keeper no chance.

Jai Ansh played very well at left fullback, and after Rhodes scored two more goals, the Rowayton lead was cut to 5-4. However, Rowayton scored two late goals to pull away for the win.
