Freia Mierendorf scored three goals in the first half and Kendall Curtin scored two, one of them a long kick from outside the box, the other with an assist from Brooke Deane.
New Canaan's defense was led by Eliza Farley, Josie Bossidy, Nicole Weiss and Abigail Weiss who did a fine job protecting goalie, Hailey Towbin.
