Paul M. Vignos, 24, of Trumbull, was arrested on narcotics charges at 8:37 a.m. on Feb. 5.

An officer stopped Vignos' vehicle on Strawberry Hill Road near Smith Ridge Road after observing him travel slightly over the double yellow lines. Upon checking his license, the officer realized it was suspended.

Another officer arrived and smelled the odor of burnt marijuana in the vehicle. Police asked the passengers to exit the vehicle and, according to the report, officers found marijuana on the driver's side seat, located in plain view.

Police continued searching the vehicle and found a Ziploc bag with a small amount of marijuana in the center console along with another Ziploc bag containing several empty smaller orange Ziploc bags as well as a small flip weight scale with marijuana leaves.

Police searched Vignos and found a small orange Ziploc bag containing 10 ecstasy pills.

Police charged Vignos with possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana, possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession with intent to distribute.

Police did not charge the other passengers of the vehicle.

Vignos posted a $10,000 bond is due in court on Feb. 15.
