NEW CANAAN — Police arrested a 34-year-old Stamford woman after she allegedly drove drunk with her three-year-old child in the car.

On March 15 around 9:45 p.m., an officer on patrol pulled over Jessica Rodriguez, of Hackett Circle, for driving with a broken marker light over her registration plate. The officer searched the car and found her three-year-old child was in the vehicle. He also saw Rodriguez seemed drunk. The Stamford woman failed a field sobriety test and was taken into custody for drunk driving and failing to illuminate a rear plate. She was also charged with risk of injury to a minor for having her child in the car with her at the time.

A blood alcohol content test showed Rodriguez’s BAC was .11 at the time of the incident. She posted a $10,000 bond and was given a court date of March 29.; @erin_kayata
