The New Canaan Nature Center summer camp, in operation for more than 40 years, offers a range of programs for kids ages 3 to 14. Counselors create a fun, nurturing environment for younger campers that emphasizes exploration and outdoor play. Older campers enjoy field games and delve into week-long projects and experiments that help develop creativity and leadership skills. Visits by the Nature Center's resident naturalists and live animals enhance the camp experience for all. One-week sessions begin June 6 for 3- to 5-year-olds and June 20 for 6- to 10-year-olds and run through Aug. 19.
