NY men allegedly shoplifted from Walgreen’s

NEW CANAAN — Police arrested two New York men after they allegedly stole from a local Walgreen’s.
On Oct. 20 at 7:57 p.m., police responded to 36 Pine St., on reports of a suspected larceny. Officers located two suspects on Park Street. Based on surveillance video, statements from the suspects and evidence found at the scene, including marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police placed the two suspects under arrest.
Brandel Gray, 24, of Contiental Place, Staten Island, N.Y. was charged with conspiracy to commit larceny in the fifth degree, possession of less than a half ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Gray was issued a misdemeanor summons and was released on a promise to appear in court on Nov. 2. Chastidy Whitehead, 23, of Midwood Street, Brooklyn, N.Y. was issued a misdemeanor summons for larceny in the fifth degree and was also released on a promise to appear in court on Nov. 2.
