NY man charged on warrant from train station incident
NEW CANAAN — A 35-year-old man from New York City was charged while appearing in Norwalk Court after allegedly failing to appear on prior charges out of New Canaan.
Tasheem Stephens, of Cross Bronx Expressway, is currently incarcerated and was appearing in Norwalk Court on Feb. 22 when he was served a warrant for failing to appear on charges out of New Canaan. The charges stemmed from a June 2017 incident at the Elm Street Train Station where Stephens was charged with possession of a narcotic and violation of parole, police said.
Stephens was charged on the warrant on an additional charge of failure to appear in the second degree.
