NY man allegedly drew profane images on car in New Canaan

NEW CANAAN — New Canaan police charged a 21-year-old man from Bedford Corners, N.Y. with criminal mischief after he allegedly drew profane images on a car.
On March 17 around 4 p.m., police received a report of $1,760 worth of damage done to a car on Locust Avenue. A long scratch had been made in the paint along the entire driver’s side of the car and images of male genitalia and profanity had been written on the windows with some sort of cream or lotion.
Through investigation, police obtained the license plate number of a suspect’s car. They identified Luke J. Salvatore, of Fox Lane, as the suspect and got a warrant for his arrest.
The Bedford Corners man turned himself in to police on May 11 around 4 p.m. He was charged with first-degree criminal mischief and released on a $2,000 bond ahead of a May 22 court date.
