Man found with outstanding warrants
At about 1:37 p.m. on Sept. 10, an officer on patrol noticed an occupied vehicle stopped on Bridle Path Lane. Due to recent burglaries in the area, the officer made contact with the driver, who said he was waiting for a friend who was working on a house in the area, according to police.
The officer ran the name and plates and found that there was a warrant for arrest for the driver, Mario Alexander Martinez, 32, of Norwalk, who failed to appear in a Greenwich court five years ago, on Feb. 16, 2007.
The original charges were operating an unregistered motor vehicle, failure to insure private motor vehicle and operating without a license.
