Lapham Center's summer newsletter, with activities for June and July, has been mailed. There are speakers on health and legal topics, classes in art, bridge, exercise and balance, a bus to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, movies, Brain Games and much more.

Nurses from the Department of Human Services will administer memory screening questionnaires for anyone who is concerned about memory loss or who believes they are at risk due to family history on Wednesday, May 19. This program is part of an effort by the Alzheimer's Foundation to promote early detection of Alzheimer's and related illnesses, and to encourage appropriate intervention.
