Cameron Schaffer, 9, of New Canaan, recently traveled to Cleveland with his father for the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremonies held in front of 6,000 fans.

Cameron has played guitar for half his life, playing both classical (he loves Beethoven) and rock (he also loves Led Zeppelin and many more bands). He attended rehearsals of the concert which was taped for HBO, where his father works. He was able to see artists like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Guns N Roses, Donovan, ZZ Top and Kid Rock.

Cameron met his favorite guitarist, Slash of Guns N Roses, who signed his guitar, as well as Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones and Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top.

A fourth-grader, Cameron will perform the Beatles' "Blackbird" and Led Zeppelin's "Black Dog" Friday, April 20, at South School's variety show at Saxe.
