NEW CANAAN — The Town Players of New Canaan enjoyed a sold-out show last Friday night for its production of “Play On”—a comedy about putting a play on.

“What’s great about this show is how funny it is,” said Meredith Bihl, stage manager, noting it runs through Saturday, Nov. 11.

“You never know, if you’re doing a farce, if you’re going to be able to pull it off,” she said, but thanks to a talented ensemble of cast and crew, they have.

The Players are in their 71st season this year, and includes participants from all around the area.

“The nice thing about the Town Players,” Bihl said, “is that everyone is welcome.”
