NEW CANAAN — A seasonal tradition known the world over was celebrated Saturday night when the New Canaan Nature Center hosted its annual Harvest Festival.

Around 150 people tapped into a variety of beer and wine, danced to a live band and hung around the campfire on the center grounds.

“It’s such a tradition, really across the world, to celebrate fall with beer, with the hops,” said board president Linda Andros, who attended similar festivals when living abroad.

“And we typically have an event to celebrate every season,” she said.
