NEW CANAAN — Art is always better when it’s shared.

That’s part of why the Silvermine Guild Arts Center hosted an adult-child art creation class Sunday afternoon.

“They’re open-ended projects, so they can take them in any direction that they like,” said instructor Megan Collins, who introduced participants to a range of ceramic and sculpture skills.

Adults and children then worked on a range of individual and shared projects, including clay animals, cups and more.
