Housekeeper charged with more theft

Vilma Yesenia Guevara, 22, of Bridgeport was charged with first-degree larceny Dec. 19 at 11:48 a.m.
Guevara was previously charged with sixth degree larceny Dec. 16 for stealing $1,000 worth of items from a residence on Ponus Ridge Road where she was housekeeping. The 47-year-old female complainant realized several other high priced items were missing and never returned by Guevara. The items include a $15,000 engagement ring, a $500 tech marine watch, a $3,000 diamond necklace and a $900 Jimmy Choo handbag. Police charged Guevara for first-degree larceny for the new items and also second degree false statement.
