Hole-in-one sponsor returns to Waveny's 10 year milestone

For the 10th consecutive year, Karl Chevrolet has returned as the hole-in-one sponsor of Waveny Care Network's annual Swinging for Seniors Golf and Tennis Outing, which is scheduled for Monday, May 21, at the Country Club of New Canaan.
Karl Chevrolet will showcase a 2012 Malibu Eco and providing golfers with the chance to win the car on the seventh hole. Participants will also have the opportunity to win $10,000 in cash with an additional hole-in-one prize sponsored by Stronghold Insurance & Financial Services.
"Karl Chevrolet continues to support the community through their involvement since the event's inception 10 years ago," Barbara Burns, the event founder in 2003, said. "Over the past decade, it has been a pleasure to watch the tournament grow and develop into one of New Canaan's most anticipated events of the spring season."

With two secured $10,000 platinum sponsors and 12 gold sponsors thus far, Karl joins a growing number of event supporters, which include Louise B. The Swinging for Seniors event also features two raffles held during the reception and award ceremony that follows the event's full day of golf and tennis. Julianne Grace, event raffle chairman, announced that the number of valuable prizes donated continues to grow.

Swinging for Seniors welcomes golf and tennis enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. Funds raised will provide financial assistance to residents and patients at Waveny Care Center, The Village at Waveny Care Center and New Canaan Inn who cannot afford the full cost of their care.
