Handwright Gallery and Framing hosts its third annual sporting and wildlife exhibition, featuring paintings, drawings and sculpture by a roster of fifteen noteworthy artists.

"The Tame and The Wild" opens Thursday Oct. 13, with a reception at 5:30 p.m. The show will run through Nov. 5.

Equestrian sports, bird hunting, upland field and game scenes, fly fishing and African wildlife are among the featured genres.

The "salon style" format will showcase delicate graphite horse portraits alongside watercolors depicting surf casting on Block Island and oil views of the hunt. The sculpture ranges from intimate groups forged in bronze to contemporary large-scale models in welded steel.
