Grace Community Church will kick off Zapped, a new eight-week summer program that runs July 1 through Aug. 19 for children ages 3 through sixth grade.
The program begins with individual preschool and kindergarten classes and a large group format for first- through sixth-graders. A multimedia curriculum uses video dramas combined with both small- and large-group discussion time for the kids.
Summer Sundays begin at 9:30 a.m. July 1 at Saxe Middle School, 468 South Ave., and are open to all children, friends and visitors. Coffee and bagels are available at 9 a.m. in the lobby, and nursery care is available for babies through 3 years old. For more information, visit www.gracecommunity.info.
